LiverRight

  ✧  logo design
  ✧  branding
✧  icon & graphic asset design

This project was created in collaboration with Gabby Wright during a Co-Op educational experience at Cintrifuse. The following is a rebrand for LiverRight, a Cincinnati-based startup healthcare platform that provides virtual care for patients needing specialized liver care.

Benchmarking

Before diving into creation, the team benchmarked logos from the healthcare sector. Not only did we look at traditional hospital systems and clinics, but also other virtual healthcare clinics, some of which were also specialized care.

Sketches

Our first goal was to establish approaches that spoke to the specialized care that LiverRight provides.

Digital Sketches

Moving into a digital space, we aimed to create a recognizable shape for the liver first and foremost while exploring how to convey that LiverRight is run in a digital space with virtual care.

Refined Sketches

After defining a simplified, recognizable shape to represent the liver and its two lobes, we continued exploring how to convey the digital aspect of the brand.

Final Logo

The final logo uses a simplified shape of a liver with a differeing weight between “Liver” and “Right” to better differentiate the words to viewers.

Color Exploration

After reviewing the use of colors in other healthcare brands, we explored blue-and-green-driven palettes to convey a sense of trustworthiness and tranquility. A deep, plum red was explored as an accent color to best represent the true color of a liver.

Final Brand Application

Both palettes were combined to create a modern, welcoming, and calming brand representative of the innovative and caring nature of the company. The red only acts in rare instances including the liver of the logomark.

Icons and graphic assets were created to apply across brand marketing materials including the website, investor and partner pitch decks, and customer-facing powerpoints.
